the brief 

Lexus South Africa approached us with the task of crafting high-converting social media content for their Facebook, Instagram & Twitter pages, with the objective of garnering a social following that was brand loyal and resonated with the aspirational tone of the Lexus brand. 

the solution

Working closely with content strategists, community managers and social media planners, we plotted and ideated creative content each month that was focused around solid, relevant content pillars and crafted each asset to ensure high quality. The result was a stark increase in social media following and a positive, consistent online presence in the automotive space.

NIVEA Global

the brief 

NIVEA needed fresh, relevant, engaging social media content to post continuously on their social media pages, primarily on Instagram and TikTok. Their primary goal was to increase their online following and secure NIVEA as the #1 skincare leadership brand. 

the solution

As part of a creative team, I assisted in crafting social media copy and conceptualising content pieces that we could produce and post to increase NIVEA's following. We were successful in improving the brand's online engagement and number of followers, gaining overall brand loyalty and securing NIVEA's positioning in the digital space.

Standard Bank Escrow Service

social media:

the brief 

Standard Bank, the largest bank in Africa, wanted a consistent social media campaign that used a fun, easily understandable tone of voice to communicate their new Escrow service. It was vital that the concept of Escrow be made easy for the consumer to understand, and the benefits thereof made clear. 

the solution

Using a highly "pun-ny" and playful tone of voice, the art director and I sourced images that worked in synergy with the copy to communicate the benefits of Standard Bank's Escrow service online.

The result was an uptake in their Escrow offering and a positive response from users online.

Nando's Viral Twitter

the brief 

As 'The Voice of The People' and a popular mouthpiece for the true feelings of South Africans, Nando's commentary on current affairs and topical news is always highly anticipated. On the day that the very first COVID-19 vaccines arrived in South Africa, Nando's wanted to put out a poignant message encouraging citizens to get the jab and to reject the many conspiracy theories surrounding it in their slick, smart & South African tone.

We used Nando's popular platform on Twitter to send a message to online consumers, encouraging them to get the jab in a way that would also make them laugh. The post quickly went viral and, along with a huge response from South African social media users, news outlets also weighed in and spread our tongue-in-cheek take.
